Diana Farrell, has been praised for her “golden voice” and “soaring soprano” for performances with Opera Western Reserve, Simsbury Light Opera, Cleveland Opera Circle, Crested Butte Music Festival, Dana Symphony Orchestra, Nightingale Opera Theatre, and the Beck Center for the Arts. Recent appearances include Anna Maurrant (Street Scene) and Miriam (The Scarf) with Nightingale Opera Theatre, Contessa Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Micaëla (Carmen), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), and Amelia (Amelia Goes to the Ball) and Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Western Reserve, where she was formerly the Director of Educational Outreach & Programming. She is a past winner of the Clark J. Haines Memorial Concerto Competition with the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra, Tri-State NATS Advanced Women's Category, and the Five Towns Music & Arts Competition. Diana holds a Masters in Vocal Performance from Youngstown State University and an Artist Diploma in Voice from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She currently lives in Southern California with her husband and son,and is thrilled to return to Nightingale Opera Theatre.
